What have you been up to this summer? We surely hope that you've been able to get out to all of the awesome events going on in the Rockies this summer!
The month of June in 2011 had so much to offer. The month kicked off with the 10th annual Teva Mountain Games. The Teva Mountain Games featured the DockDogs competition, Teva Slopestyle, the Mud Run, and the IFSC Bouldering World Cup competition (not pictured) among others. Teva also put on two free concerts with Bud Light, featuring The Dirty Heads and Xavier Rudd.
Later in the month, Vail held their annual King of the Mountain Volleyball Tournament. They had dozens of nets set up for anybody to play on, and a few sand courts for the tournament. The same weekend, Breckenridge was putting on the annual Kingdom Days festival. The highlight of the Kingdom Days festival was definitely the Outhouse Races.
The month of June came to a close with the Bravo! Music Festival in Vail as well as the BBQ Festival in Vail. Two new events came to the Rockies this year: the Tomato Battle in Copper and the Tough Mudder event in Beaver Creek.
With all of these events going on, don't forget that there's so much more to experience! We were able to go golfing at the Vail Golf Club and we also went out to Red Cliff to hang out with Nova Guides and ride some ATVs with them!
