The Bible DID NOT influence any Government since David opposes the Church Fathers who sought to implement Christian values to the state. David opposes the idea of State Authority as a Christian concept yet he boasts that Modern Governmental law was dictated and influenced by the Bible...
So the problem we have is that David's ideal of sticking to the Book has made him ADMIT that his religion is VOID of state regulation which therefore promotes and ALLOWS perversion and Anarchy

St. Augustine is one of the MOST important figures in the development of Western Christianity and for David to dismiss his influence is disgraceful. Every Christian and EVERY Functional Christian Government consciously was influenced by his concepts. In order to make Christianity a viable authority Agustine interpreted and understood what Jesus said and made practical sense out of it!
Let me reiterate, to establish peace you have to have an authority, the upper hand..

Christian principles therefore are inadequate and hopelessly impractical to create a viable and functioning Government.
David has no point

David KNOWS that what Jesus taught had NOTHING to do with a State therefore to argue Islam is not peaceful is like comparing Apples to Oranges since Islam also involves Governmental decisions such as implementing Penal Codes but Christianity has NO governmental law which is why Jesus never spoke of those issues.

Jesus was teaching etiquettes which is why what he said DOES NOT apply to a state where the Jews are in power. Penal Code is a necessity and punishing physical and offensive violence is a GOOD thing.
Peace also involves ESTABLISHING that peace and that involves preventing anarchy.
David needs to differentiate between what an authority does and what an individual does.
What Jesus (pbuh) said is all perfectly well and good to an individual but NOT for a Government
