*tear* this is beautiful

@robbyownsyou999 or you can enlist in the reserves, and after you get done with college you go into OCS, go talk to a recruiter about it
-
@Spyke2789 4 years active duty. 4 years inactive
-
@robbyownsyou999 To have the corps pay for your college, you need to enlist (bootcamp), then apply for an enlisted to officer program, then go to college, then to OCS! Good luck!
-
Im confused... I need the Marine Corps to pay for my college and I want to become an officer... So do I have to go to boot camp, then college, the OCS? Or college, bootcamp, OCS?
-
So there will only be seniors this year? Where'd you hear that from
-
@sbpin0yb0y91 I heard they froze PLC slots for this summer, apparently they didn't have enough ppl doing it. I was disheartned when i heard that
-
Master Gunnery Sergeant says it all, we must find and properly train people that can inspire ME.
Exactly!
In my best estimation this class based over-educated system, does NOT do this.
Not at all.
It is ineffective, it is *very bad* for morale, and is plainly right-out-in-the-open asinine.
This system is TARFU.

i hate that you have to have a bachelors degree to be an officer. i want to be a marine. not a squint
-
@Alextehmusician just the officer form of bootcamp.
@devildog7494 it's clearly a polarizer...

The Quigley is the easiest thing you do at OCS. Don't worry about that. Worry about getting a heat stroke or not eating you food fast enough, or not being able to take a poop before you go on a hump. Those are things to worry about.
