1993 Highlighted as premium stallion, Hohenstein started his brilliant career as top stallion.

1994 He finished his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf as vice champion with a total score of 134, 05 points. He achieved 148, 29 points for rideability in first place.

1995 Hohenstein was champion of the Trakehner breed and was placed first in the German Young Horses Championships.

1997 Hohenstein's first year of foals included champion stallion Münchhausen, sold for 350,000 DM.

1998 Hohenstein started winning dressage competitions at S level.

1999 Hohenstein was proclaimed elite stallion.

2002 Hohenstein was stallion of the year and his son His Highness became champion of the licensing in Verden.

2005 Hohenstein's son Insterburg was placed third at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden.

2006 Three premium stallions of the Trakehner licensing carry the blood of Hohenstein.

2007 Hohenstein provided two premium stallions at the licensing in Neumünster. His son Hohenstaufen became European and German Champion of the Young Riders with Kristin Schütte.

2008 He is dam sire of winning Trakehner stallion Iskander. Thea-Felicitas Müller won with Hohenstein's son Highway the team gold medal at the European Championships of Young Riders in Portugal.

2009 the Hohenstein son Insterburg TSF wins with his rider Carola Koppelmann the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix freestyle at the indoor tournament in Hanover.
