Finding your RC Plane in the Corn.wmv

This is what it's like to have an RC Plane go down in our corn field and then have to go find it. Once the corn becomes close to 12 - 15 feet high it can be a bit of a challenge, we have some good tools nowadays like GPS tracking, and we use a 10 foot pole with flag on it for the walkers and a someone on the runway for cell phone communication, That way people can tell us which way to go as they can sometimes see the flag above the corn and let us know if were still on course towards where we saw it go down, we can sometimes spend hours and in some cases weeks looking in hundreds of acres for a downed plane, luckiliy we found this one very quickly.

@WTurbiasz Don't you though, It adds to the excitement of our flying site and we'll never go hungry as we have an unlimited supply of corn on the cob or popcorn in case we get lost in there, thats why I always carry my lighter. :) its better exercise than any gym as well lol

@Hewey19 Yeah LOL we usually get corn one year and then Hay or Wheat or something but this has been 3 years in a row with corn lol

Searches in the corn are the worst. We have the same problem at our field. We are always happy when the farmers plant beans instead of corn.
