In this video a magician has a faster way to do it. Might take some practice but it looks cool! Check out "Axel Adlercreutz - Sweden's Got Talent 2009". (I can't add a link here but just search for it.)

do it slow god damn

i can do a full windsor but i can't find a tie long enough. don't use a mirror, use feeling, it should touch your belt buckle.
tying shoes is easy with long fingers like mine but i still make it so i can just slip my shoes on without undoing them.

lol thats even useful for someone who has 2 arms thanks!

Do you plan on any more?

I have a few one arm/ prosthetic how-to videos on youtube as well. Thanks for doing this!

Can't wait to see your new videos!

I forgot to mention, any other things you think might be helpful. One doesn't realize all things one does with two hands e.g. typing, eating, dressing, etc. Thanks, for being willing to help.

I wanted you to know that I just came back from my doctors and it appears that I do not have a tumor in my brain so no surgery is necessary. I appreciate your willingess to post another video of tying shoes, but you need not do it just for me.
Thanks,

I just type slow. But I can't really think any faster than I type, anyway. I asks the cook to cut my steak, vlean my lobster, etc., whenever a difficult situation comes up. A good filet, however, can be cut with a fork. As far as dressing goes, I'll post shoe-tying, zipping up a coat, and tying a half-windsor next week when my taxes are finally done. I hate the AMT!

Well-executed video, esp. good quality compared to most here. I agree with theojtaylor--would like to see more one-armed approaches to everyday life.

Like what kinds of activities? I can tie a half-windsor knot too. So I can get that fat knot that is in style these days. I can tie shoes.

Nice screen name. Jeez. I can't believe there has been a 1000 viewings of this video. A young guy who lost his arm wanted to see how I could get ready in the morning so I put this on-line so he could view it easily.
