    Stumbled on this searching for instructions on cable routing for my Chinese carbon hardtail. This Niner cable routing is crazy! On the frame I just bought, it has internal tubing so you push the cable in at the head and it comes out at the rear derailleur. No removing the fork, bottom bracket, etc.

    so, if I break a cable on some epic ride, I'm pretty much f'd? Great, you got the cables out of the elements, in the meantime I could replace the cable on 10 other bikes in the same amount of time it would take on this bike. Remove the fork, remove the crank and bb, make sure you have about 5 feet of spare housing (that you don't actually need other than to use as a guide) and about 45 minutes of time. Or you could just pay your local shop $50+ to replace a single cable. Makes perfect sense.
