Before 1913 the area was owned by The Turks for 550 years. So if you like the city names from pre 1913 then you need to adopt the Turkish versions. Your capital was called by the Turkish name of Uskub. The original ancient Macedonian names are Thessaloniki ( named after Alexanders sister). Bulgarians/ and slavs that arrived 1000 years later called it Solun. You are missinformed
