The Center for the Arts of San Luis Potosí Centenario presents the second part of El riesgo interpretado (The risk translated) a trilogy of dance, music and physical theatre, commissioned to three international and emerging choreographers: Elena Fokina (Rusia), Laura Arís and German Jáuregui (Spain), ex dancers of the acclaimed company Ultima Vez based in Brussels, Belgium.
EL BUIT (The hole)
Directed by Laura Arís (Spain)
Five friends get together to give their last goodbye to someone they loved. Death as a complex theme for contemporary Mexican society confronted and organically exposed through a realistic short film shot in an overwhelming location and with a grounded and powerful choreography in connection with a great soundtrack originally created for the piece.
I try to think
with the hole of the head
in unknown people like... like if I'd seen them before
like if there were not to much stories
and dying of laughing we could tell them
with the fingers of the tongue.
