I come from Liverpool, infact I lived round the cornor from his mother after she died. This is not a nice song about her, it's about a little revenge. Not 2 say he doesn't love her. she died in a car crash just in front of her house about 10 mins from strawberry fields. can you see how pissed off he is with his mother check out the hisssss!!! 1;59.

he also says, I hope you recognise her! at the end of the song. Another words he is upset with her. sry 2 burst the bubble but Johnny just feels sry for himself!! He's a genius but his music is giving the wrong impression!!!! Listen too the lyrics and not the tune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

@abuchaa Dude, I'm sorry to burst yer bubble, but most of us weren't born yesterday and are familiar with the meaning behind this song. The tune is not so catchy...it's a heart wrenching song about the real world. He wasn't so angry as distresseed and the song was therapuetic. John loved his mother..it was his father he dispised. In the beginning he sayts it's about all parents...he was right. We get it.
