How precious! Aren't some animals wonderful with little ones? Your beautiful dog is fantastic with your son. We have a cat which is 6 months old and runs about like a mad thing but when my disabled friend visits, she is placid and quiet, doesn't run around my friend's feet or try to play rough. She simply sits next to her and puts her head on my friend's lap and purrs! Your son has a wonderful companion and protector in this lovely dog.

Dog: "I'm too old for this stuff man. Oh…oh…I see how it is, you know what? I got some fight in me - I can take you. Bring it small human! Bring it one who cries for bottle!"
Baby: "Put your money where your mouth is one who drinks from toilet!"

@supaoompaloompa OK, I just checked again - and you're right. My mistake. I wasn't worried or anything, I just thought it looked awesome.
Your dog is clearly used to "serving" as a playground, and your son seems totally confident with this "beast". (And, obviously, since someone is filming this, the child is not alone with the dog.)
This clip makes me want to buy a child and give birth to a very large dog... (or is it the other way round?)

@supaoompaloompa you are an idiot. You don't understand dogs. Go learn something, please, before your baby ends up without a face.

I had to check this several times, but now I'm sure: At 0:18 the dog briefly puts his jaws round the baby's body to ease it down on the floor - as if indeed the baby were a puppy. These dogs must be absolutely massive! And it seems that the larger the dog, the gentler and more patient its demeanour.

@greycatz100 Lol, no our dog doesn't put him in his mouth. He just puts his chin on him. He used to do that with us when we'd play with him too. Now he's too old and the baby is no longer a baby anymore. Instead, he just lays in front of my son's doorway while he plays with his toys. Every once in a while my son will roll a car to him but he's not as agile anymore. They're still best pals though. Check out the "preschool" video I posted recently. Our dog's in that one too.

Guys, the dog would rest his head on my belly throughout my pregnancy and feel the baby kick. Interaction between our dog, my pregnancy, and the baby was a family affair and much bonding took place. Relax, guys. We aren't "testing" the dog's limits. We've had our dog since he was 2 months old. He's now on his last legs going on his 10th year as a large-breed dog and the baby, being much bigger now, doesn't climb on him anymore. Please refrain from arguing about a family film.

Patient dog

@GodZiLRAah His demeanor is the reason why we chose him. He's such a nurturing, well-behaved dog, especially for a male. The neighborhood kids love him dearly and the adults know him well. They don't mind when he comes to their front door for visits.
