@SvuFanForeva93 Actually it was Elliot's wife that left him and took the kids away from him. She filed for divorce, she didn't like him angry all the time, that is the reason that she gave. I suspect that the only reason why she wanted him back was because of Elliot's temporary new partner and was jealous.

Umm actually, Elliot was her husband and he left her BEFORE she got pregnant. He wouldn't have left Kathy just because she was having a girl. And to clarify, they didn't know what they were having. If you watched the beginning of the episode when they had little Tommy at their house, Kathy said "I have a feeling were having a girl, but you really want a boy" And then Elliot said "I just want it to be healthy." If your going to comment, know your stuff.

You are not the onyl one, I thik the same and I also hate Elliot obsession of BOYS - that´s why I not going to see this stupid serie any more.

I hate it because Cathy sad that the baby is a girl and her husband was angry, hated her beacouse of it and nad left her JUST BECAUSE of the SEX of the baby and in the end end the baby somehow changed into a boy but WHY ? !!!!? What is so wrong about girls that there are only boys in every American movie and serie ?!!!? I don´t know any American serie or movie with a girl. And I this that the baby had to remain s GIRL till This ending was stupid and I totally hate it !!!!
