Portrait of a Tiger, Part Two. Watch it in HD!

Brushes & Colour Wheel - Download via my website.

Double Window - Open your image in Photoshop, then click Window, Arrange, New Window. You will need to drag the windows off the bar and resize them in order to see both at the same time. The Zoom % for each window can be altered individually by using the navigator.

  • Do you ever use the smudge tool in photoshop or just different opacities to blend and merge colours? Thanks for posting these videos :)

  • @Honeybearization No, when blending I vary the opacity and use soft edged brushes. The smudge tool can be too smooth and flat. I find that removing too much texture makes an image look too plastic and digital. Don't over blend an image, leave a little texture, it actually helps it look more effective.

  • Jesus...How do your videos not have as many views as 'cgsbgs'? Your videos are definitely up to par with his if not better.

  • @Tedsta101 Perhaps he has been on YouTube for longer? If you'd like to help, share my videos with friends! :)

  • Really nice! I am learning lots from you.

Question though, I can't seem to get the tools under the navigation view while keeping the large workspace big. Been screwing my windows all the time, heh. You have my thanks.

I wish I could be as good as you in the future. Please keep posting. It is very motivating. :)

  • @Artheya The tools are actually hovering over the top of the image window. You should be able to drag them off and resize them? Really glad you're finding the videos useful!

  • @x3Salx3 All the tools I use (including the swatches) can now be found on my website. Check the video description for the link. :)

  • @MikeNashArt you say that we can find the swatches at google : Charlie Bowater. But I can't find any swatches ;( would u mind to give us a link? Thanks anyway, U are a Great artist :D

  • @FlameHaze285 Thank you! Yes I use a graphics tablet. Each video is roughly 3 hours of painting real-time.

  • Question how long does it take you to do this? Also I'm guessing you use a tablet correct? Last thing this is amazing!
