Celebration Europe 2007

Video montage of our visit to England for the largest STAR WARS event we've experianced. It was allot of fun and I hope it shows here.

With the help of everyone present at Celebration Europe 2007, we are able to present this small memorial to a rebirth of interest and excitement for the wonderful world of Star Wars.

This event rejuvinated our creative juices and spawned new inspirations for the future. Celebration Europe was a fantastic investment of time and pleasure for both Corinne and myself.

I made this film and dedicate it to all the STAR WARS fans that could and couldn't makde it to Celebration Europe. This is an edited file within the 10 minute limit of YouTube.

any reason the death star is upside down at the beginning?

Yeah, you have to remember that it's here in gravity that upside down exists. The death star doesn't show up to destroy a planet and worry if someone is looking up it's skirt. From the control deck, looking at a planet that people aren't falling off below their equator... they count down till the planet's population will be flying apart due to the certain destruction if their Obama doesn't surrender the planet. Does that explanation justify the artistic choice? 8-)

the actual reason was because the angle of approach to the planet from it's northern hemisphere, the deathstar looked ridiculous and seemed "wrong" in some way.... now it just looks upside down. hmmmm.

That was awesome!!All the memories came flooding back when i watched that!!I was the guy in the que that you say to on the vid'Thesae are starwars fans!They come a long way'I bumped in to you every day after that but you would not reconise me as i was dressed as a stormtrooper.I Also saw you take photos of me on the tantive set.Hope there will be a CEU-2!!Thanx for sharing the vid matey :)

Some of the most professional footage I've seen of the event so far. Excellent work Duane. Even included some footage I missed out on - and I had total access! How did you get that aeriel shot at the end? Once again, congratulations on the camerawork and editing!
