Could Ridley Scott's depiction become the future of biomimetic engineering, could snake robots be pre-programmed to hunt down their biological counterparts in the name of making it safe for humans, it's a distinct possibility, particularly when Slugbot http://www.ias.uwe.ac.uk/Robots/slugbot.htm is taken into consideration? Mind you I wouldn't mind one of those for my back garden?
A thought provoking and haunting clip from a momentous film!!!!

  • Just shows how much science fiction has and is shaping our future and Bladerunner clearly runs very deeply with many people.

  • what scene is this? in the movie?

  • @caitlyncuzz ermmm the famous 'not fish-snake scale' scene I reckon?

  • WHAT SONG IS 0:19-0:28 the woman singing. I cant find that anywhere

  • oh, you people. "Tales of the future" - Search it

  • @Shaihuluid I've just noticed your comment here so thanks for clearing that up, bit of a genius Vangelis, able to produce deeply emotional and moving music in an electronic based format........ and has been doing since the late 70's....anyway a bit more info on this track which blew me away was that it's the voice of Demis Roussos and there was me imagining this beautiful, mysterious belly dancer stylee woman from Arabia who was never to be found again! Again Thanks

  • @Nirvana10588 looks like it may blow you away too hehe!

  • @Nirvana10588

"cold fish", the third song on the Vangelis "Blade Runner" album

  • what is the song that plays after this scene?

  • @Nirvana10588 The song is NOT sung by a women, the name of the singer is Demis Rossous, it's a guy! :D The name of the Song is "Tales of The Future" You can find it on here!!!!! :D

  • I don't think the world of Blade Runner would be as pleasant to live in as it is to watch. Cinematography has a way of making places and situations seem a lot more interesting than they really are.

  • BRADE RUNNAH

  • in the future all oscillograph's will have a built in electro-microscope function
