the logo changed to the current one in '85 i think, and also SNL is THE best show on NBC

@smill1985 I think i watched nbc more than anything back then good shows like alf,hogan family,different world,cosby,family ties,cheers,golden girls................ the guy was a genius shame he passed on :(

@godsholywoman Of course, most of that credit should go to the late, great Brandon Tartikoff who turned NBC into the dominant network it was in the 80s and early 90s. RIP Brandon Tartikoff.
