How unlucky. He only liked to simply trade information involving the Shadow Broker and nothing else until his fate got to him whether he did know or not.
But hey, it's cut audio, we'll wait and see what happened to him in ME3.

@Huesenheimer I'm not sure, but it could be because Harkin was kind of an asshole while Barla Von was much more respectful. That and the suits that the volus wear make them, as a species, seem cuter or something.

I´ve done all side quests and half of them doesn´t work.

@riutak They will, but they give you a break and you will still be able to have a "good" ending.

I only hope that this side quests won´t effect ME3.

I wonder if Liara was behind killing Barla Von? She seemed to have dipped her fingers into a few rather unsavory pots, and has threatened to kill (or rather, flay alive) at least one guy, even without going into the DLC.

This kind of pisses me off. I hope BioWare releases a patch for ME2 or at least recognizes the errors in ME3 somehow... I don't know how it would work... But yeah..

I know I heard this in the game somewhere. At least the consort and Barla Von ones. I have the xbox version though so I don't know what they did or didn't include.

Thanks for this. Answers some questions regarding if there were bugs present in some ME1 side missions (like w/ the Consort) and if there were other conclusions shown in ME2. That said, were there any other unused Galactic News items?

No. That was it. There may be some unused audio in the Emily Wong, Ilium and Omega news items (the game treats them all as separate categories), but I haven't tried triggering all of those in-game, so I can't say for sure. None of them are directly related to the outcomes of ME1 sidequests though. Mostly, there're just some general references to stuff like Ilos, the Alliance 5th Fleet, etc.
