Florida Atlantic University Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Multimedia Lab is interested in understanding and overcoming the barriers to seamless access to multimedia information delivered over a diverse set of networks and devices. The devices in the present user environment can cooperate to maximize the end users quality of experience.
Our recent research efforts have been in the areas of: 1) Video Transcoding 2) Complexity reduction in video coding and transcoding 3) 3D and multi-view video compression and 4) Multimedia on multi-core.
