Exodus 3:7
And the LORD said: 'I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.'
The Bible tells us that at the beginning of the Israelites' 430-year stay in Egypt, they were well respected for Joseph's sake. Later, when the Egyptian leadership forgot how Joseph saved Egypt, it began making their lives difficult.
One of the most enlightening archaeological finds from the period of Israel's captivity is a settlement called The Village of the Place of Truth. Excavators at the city have found homes, letters, notes, court records, work diaries and wills dating from this period. The village was home to those who built the royal tombs. While there is no evidence that the Israelites ever lived in the village, what has been found has revealed much about life in Egypt when Israel was there. We learn that Egypt had a tradition in which every citizen put in at least one year of service to the government. Those out of favor could be forced into years or even a lifetime of forced labor. However, it was considered an honor to work on the royal tombs, and it seems unlikely that the Israelites had much to do with them. The Bible tells us that the Israelites did, however, make bricks. That could include the very bricks that built the Village of the Place of Truth. Finally we learn that pigs were a staple among such workers, which certainly would be repugnant to the Israelites.
Archaeologists have concluded that the biblical record of Israel's stay in Egypt has too many accurate details about Egypt to be nothing more than a legend.
Prayer: I thank You, Lord, for knowing my sorrows and bringing me salvation. Amen.

I think the old man in the beginning of the vids is trying to use old school churchy methods of brainwashinhg uneducated people. Well its not working for me. I just feel pity for him as it is not long for him to go to an old persons nursing home.

just because someone knows about a people's whereabouts and doings in time doesnt mean that their story of a bearded man in the sky is right. I could talk about how mexicans live and work in the U.S. now, but if I write a book about an alien god that no one can prove wrong does that make me correct.. go try and brainwash elsewhere prickk

Absolutely to Steven DeNoon this troubled him for years, he is very well versed in Hebrew and full well knew Moses went through the mighty deep. So the question was why would Moses call this the Reed Sea? But to hear the argument is impressive but more importantly it lends credibility to the text and hopefully will silence some of the critics that claim Moses crossed some marshy lake. I've heard that he will be making appearances on prophesy in the News. Who knows?

@BenDeNoon Thank you and it would appear that drowning the Egyptians in a shallow body of water would be difficult.

Let me clarify this so you better understand, you don't want to rush to judgment without the facts. Steven DeNoon is a strong supporter of the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea a body of water that is much like the Gulf of Aqaba as some evidence has pointed to. But many skeptics point to the literal Hebrew translation which calls it a Reed Sea not Red but as DeNoon points out the scripture clearly says the water was a wall to the right and left, something that would not happen in Reed Sea

@BenDeNoon says: "Steven DeNoon has resolved the mystery for Moses calling the Red Sea a Reed Sea."
Uh, Ben. Where in the Bible is the Red Sea called the Reed Sea? Is this man saying they crossed the Reed Sea and it was not really a sea but more of a marsh or swamp area? Where is he going with this nonsense? Also, is Chuch Missler a KJB Bible believer or is he a multi-versionist, No Bible is inerrant, Bible of the Month club member? Do you know? Will K
