Those crappy shoes forece you to heel strike which is inefficient and ruins your knees.
this makes running not feeling effortless.
minimalist shoes without AIR do so and the right technique.
you don't land on your heel but on the ball of the foot.
try running barefoot. you normally don't heel strike.

I have the lime and grey max 360's. I don't run in them because I want to preserve them as much as possible. I only wear them occasionally and they are very comfortable. My only complaint is the small tongue on the shoes.

I bought the air max 2010 and they are so uncomfortable.Don't knwo why,i gues is because i'm a overprononcer or something like that and there shoes are for neutral running people.

pronounced the worst running shoes due to no stability at all...
went to buy them and the shoe salesman told me that Nike stopped producing them..

if you buy any nike, shox, air max etc. on ebay or online, chances are you are getting some fakes unless they come from a shoe store. like the old saying goes, if it's to good to be true it's probably not true. i have bought shox on ebay before and they were fakes. i buy all my stuff now from stores, that way, i know they are the real deal.
