  • Don't normally like live footage overdubbed with studio recordings, but this is a great job....just a shame that the sound has that 'flicker'

  • Excellent! Great post, i got weak in the knees.

  • Absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorite New Order songs. And now my favorite New Order video. Stunning. Thank you so very much. Bravo!

  • Das Beste war "ICB: Ian Curtis Buried",,, von Lichtjahren "New Order, In_cold_blood" ......^_^

  • time to dust off state of the nation, gulp !!! is that the best there is ? or maybe terry venables masterpiece.

  • @birdandthe The order of merit is mine alone according to my idiosyncracies, worldview, taste in sound etc.The 2 JD albums are powerful & conceptually strong, I may not necessarily say same about Movement but I often like music with 'flaws'. Movement appeals the most because of qualities that are peculiar to the kind of person I am, sound pallette, particular style of production etc. Pigtails & PVC skirt would do it for me but I already like lots of lighthearted music so I wouldn't have to lie!

  • @chrisnoaro1 So ! finally coming round to my way of thinking, ordering music according to its merit, so youve got clash and buzzcocks at the bottom, then power corruption and lies then joy division albums then movement , easy isent it ? ( i dont quite agree with the order) p.s if that nurse is dead fit and wearing black stockings and suspenders i will say i like every piece of music she likes.

  • @birdandthe I never liked Buzzcocks nor London Calling. I like Magazine & Shelley's solo stuff. I don't think PCL is superior to JD, I think Movement is. I think PCL is patchy but has several excellent tracks. I don't like Age Of Consent & :Leave Me Alone much, Also I'm a raw vegan so it'll most likely be 50 years, not 30 years. I might be asking the nurse to provide music I like, but you'll be lecturing the nurse that he\she should be into the music that YOU like - that will be truly sad!!

  • @chrisnoaro1 dear readers, behold the sight of chrisnoaro1's brain collapsing, out thought and out fought all that is left is abuse, he's in his room now listening to power corruption and lies and thinking how superior it is to joy division. he will still be there in 30 years spluttering to the nurse to he wants to listen to the buzzcocks, to remind him of the good old days, how sad.

  • @birdandthe Your head is so far up your own arse, I don't think you'll ever be able to pull it out. If your brain had evolved, you'd be able to look back on music you once felt more connected to & still be able to appreciate it's worth & artistic value, instead of sooo desperately trying to show that you've moved on! Trouble with a band like Joy Division is they attract the most horrendously pretentious types, but I saw through the narrow minded piffle from the likes of you a long time ago.
