Re: bootleg copy response to my post of the 2-disc Raintree County; if this is a true bootleg copy, why can Netflix be sending it out? I can't imagine a reputable company like Netflix messing with stuff like this...????????

yes, very sad warners didn't have it ready for its 50th anniversary dvd release in 2007! a shame!
i check eBay almost daily to see if warners has gotten it out...i've been searching now literally FOR YEARS!

the 2-disc dvd is foreign bootleg. warners home video owns this movie now and has yet to release it on dvd.

What a wonderful song...what a great movie! Sad that Warner Video(owners of this film) has let this film lay without restoring it and putting out a good DVD of it....
