  • Ironically ...

    1. most US holders of Swiss accts are those wealthy enough to take advantage of many tax loopholes not availiable to the average guy

    2. the IRS allows 'tax avoidance' (see above) but not 'tax evasion'......which is what happens when the common man dares to try to keep his own money.

Indeed - how dare you try to escape the 'lawful extortion racket'!

    :D

  • We wouldn't want any of that.

    Seriously, fuck those bastards.

  • I'm wondering why the "posture" of the Swiss government changed recently. Did the Hope and Change administration threaten them? Or is it a matter of Swiss internal politics?

  • No idea. But I lost a great deal of respect for the Swiss now.

  • the swiss didnt. they where forced.

dont forget they have mountains like in afganistan :-P

  • nnnooooooooooooo

They got through the Swiss. This is not good.

  • Lol:p

Ppl I know who have transferred funds (wired) to foreign banks for legitimate reasons (travel, extended stay/work overseas) have been hassled! And these are ppl who DO pay the 'extortionists'.

    Indeed...fuck 'em:)

  • Sounds like a good place to go to...

  • There's so much inertia that it will be real difficult. "Throwing them out" is an illusion I think, might work for a while, but real power is controlling the money supply. They'll still be inflating and extorting, that's for sure.

  • lol, sounds good, however, i'd probably have to learn a different language, lol. we shouldn't get forced out of our own country though. i'd like to think that we can just fix the current countries that we live in. however, since the "fix" is in, it's gonna be hard to "throw the bums out".

  • you know, costa rica is the most nonintrusive government in the world that I've found. we ought to go there.
