As promised here is an in depth look at how I achieve my flat twist look! I used Jane Carter wrapping lotion as my styler. This was done on freshly washed hair: pre-pooed with jojoba and tee tree oils, followed by shampooing with argan oil one and only shampoo and finally deep conditioned with macadamia deep conditioning masque!

For a more detailed written description of this process visit my blog at Asiliglam.com and be sure to follow on twitter @Asili_Glam and @peacefoundme. Want more AsiliGlam??? Like the official Facebook fan page!!

  • @Makeupology1 thanks love!

  • @lilallnatural1 thanks so much for the support!

  • @uniquenique7 I do this method once every week and half to two weeks...I don't flat twist at all during the week. I maintain my flat twist by covering my hair with a silk bonnet at night and fluffing my hair in the morning

  • @ccwright1990 Soooo glad you didn't throw them away!!!! Hard to come by in some places! Save them...you're twist out will thank you!!! lol

  • Thank you so much!! The technique for the edges is genius! Chime get's all the recognition for that because that's something I would've never thought of! lol

  • I so glad you did this video... Do you do this method every nite? How often do you flat twist during the week?

  • I almost threw away my Narobi wrap lotion (2 bottles to be exact) when I went natural b/c I thought I couldn't use it...I can't wait to try this tomorrow.

  • Great idea for the edges I'll definitely try it.
