PS3 fans quit jobs and postpone engagement to wait in line

What are you willing to go through to get a Sony PlayStation 3? We went to the Best Buy store in Burbank where people already started lining up eight days before the launch. One guy quit his job to stand in line, while another won't have enough money to buy an engagement ring for his girlfriend.

If a console is that important over a job and marriage guess what the PS3 and any other console will not by happiness at all. Good luck in trying to get unemployment. This is a textbook example of just how the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor. It all boils down to individual decision making.

The rich stay rich by forestalling instant gratification and tending to endeavors that have the least opportunity cost. Conversely, the poor stay poor by indulging in instant gratification and poor decision making. Like yeah, they don't have enough money for health insurance, but they have enough for the latest and greatest video games.
