Kapono was signed as a free agent. Miami did not trade him. He was not getting many touches in Miami because D.Wade and Shaq carried the offence where in Toronto he'd be a primary shooter. I guess that's his reason for signing with Toronto.. well the money Toronto offered was good too lol

miami in some ways were foolish to trade him but your not going to get open looks if you dont have a big man in the center and people dont double team wade even though they should and he cant really do anything else consistently or he just doesnt get enough minutes to show he can do more than shoot

he hasnt taken much 3's lately...i say tht the raps need to get him so good looks from the 3 point arc...but hes been playing good by taking the right shot and playing with intensity

Thanks for explaining that - a very sound explanation.. True, it makes perfect sense to go to a place where he will get more of the spotlight and yes I'm sure the money was also a factor. He looks to be entering the prime of his career and seems to be paying dividends to Toronto already.
