  • no, inside the buggy is pressurized. Their suit will actually be mounted to the side (exterior) of the buggy, the astronauts will don the suit from inside thru a rear hatch soviet spacesuit style. The suit will never come inside, they have a built-in airlock module.

  • It is so cool that they're actually in the rover with no outside food or water. Everything they need is in the vehicle... what they really need is something to keep the stink out and some way to take a shower. I think the moon rover should have an inflatable Hab, not a solid one... the one's that Bigelow are making are far more resilient to micro meteors than hard shell aluminum ones are.

  • HUmAn Being r so priMitive

  • if you get any, forward them over to jpl to help get the mars rover unstuck

  • i wouldt vote for a PS3 and the game grand tursimo for the long hours ;)

  • I want to design space suits with Heather please.

  • too bad they couldn't just send a high track dozer out there or simular design.

literally make your own path and no worries about getting stuck unless there is deep mud.

  • I know they will try to stay clear of craters and rocks, but what if it gets stuck, will there be some kind of winch available, any ideas on what to do?

  • Looks like a buggy from a James Bond film! :-)
