GCC speaks relevant language that nonbelievers can understand. That is why GCC does what it does. Everything GCC does is for one purpose: bring people to Christ.

Okay, I'm preparing to worship, and the worship leaders (who are to lead us into God's presence) begin playing a song created by and for people who dread the FEAR OF THE LORD. This is disctracting the mind, not preparing it for worship. If I actuall knew the words to this ungodly song, it would then be impossible for me to not have the lyrics enter my mind, rather than that which is holy and pure -- and God center even HIS WORD!! This is sacrilege -- basphemy! Abominable! It is Idolotry.

Yes they do. I see how this could be looked at and have you wondering what is going on. So I'll explain a little. They usually have a modern song that ties into the message being played by the band about five minutes before the service begins, while everyone is being seated, that's why they are only playing the music and not singing. During the service they play christian music, usually christian rock, but also old hyms. Please take this brother with a kind heart, it's just ment to inform.
