I have two cards as well, an external USB and the onboard one. Im jack setup I pick the usb one rof input and the other one for output and it works fine. I have to check everytime before starting jack if the usb device name haven't changed (there's a way to keep it fixed but it's too much for me). Is there a way to midi control hydrogen knobs/faders? Thanks for the tuts

is there any way to integrate hydrogen into other music production programmes as a vst so it runs inside it.

@buddycookiegoliath: What is the make/model of your keyboard? Are you sure Linux supports it? Is it a USB Midi Keyboard, or do you have a midi input device on your computer?

In bios, try turning off the motherboard's sound card, to remove the issues with two sound cards.. that's if its not being used..
can you record the midi signal and make a hydrogen pattern? how would you manage bpm of the input?

@kelargo: Yes, you can use hydrogen to record MIDI input. I'm not sure what you mean by "manage bpm of the input"
