@BKerry I don't know what it is, but there are classes of people who make absurd claims regarding themselves and the military. It is amplified when discussion is on special operations-capable units. I remember a guy who would NOT shut up about "I'm going to be a SeAL and this is what seals eat and I'm doing a SeAL pushup and my haircut is SeAL approved...." and on and on. Another group is the bar stool/keyboard commando: "I coulda/woulda been a "x".....". STFU and do it or don't, shitbricks.

"The Unit" is an Army unit. it's officially called "combat applications group", used to be called Delta Force

@OzIsOnCloudNine They don't understand that it's just the military culture rubbing off on us. Our personality is still intact. What happens when you go to a different country and live there for a couple years? Unless you just kept to yourself and didn't try and talk or socialize with anyone, chances are the ways of that country will rub off on you.

Even going to college in a sociologist's point of view is considered to be indoctrination. Or what the pussies like to call "brainwashing".
