I can't agree more. He who kills a person as if he kills the entire human race is what Islam says. Honor killing needs a very harsh legal punishment and a serious campaign for cultural change. Collaborative regional and international efforts are urgently needed to bring about this change

Turks ar laic arent they, so what has it got to do with religion? Its more a custom and traditions. It is not permissible for a person to kill another one and the Quran says that. It has nothing to do wit Islam,.
