  • too bad i'm not english.. now i must search for the meaning of the lyrics.. otherwise i would understand it inmediatly..

  • It took me 6 months to enjoy this album, now I think is one of their best albums but it's not, I mean it took me 6 months to like it, that's not a good album , not like Suck It And See, I loved it the moment I listened to it.

  • @DIGITALH1TMAN are you kidding? "The Jeweller's Hands" is one of the best songs ive heard in a long time. I used to think the arctic monkeys were nothing special. i mean all they did was write loud pop songs with lyrics that only appeal to teenagers, bands like those are a dime a dozen. but when i heard Humbug, everything changed. it's so much more artistic and deep. i'm a huge monkeys fan now.

  • 2:40 the drumming is sick

  • @149javi have you listened to "Tge jewelers hands" cos i dont like that :/

  • I`m new to arctic monkeys, i started hearing them months ago but there`s not a song i don`t like :D

  • @wolf90 EXACTLY how I feel. Humbug is the best example of their creativity. It took a while to get into their more obscure songs but it just adds to the depth of their music!

  • i didn't liked humbug at first. now I can't believe why I was so stupid!

humbug is a really, really great album. Arctic Monkeys made a great sucess in their way to play and in the lyrics. Their songs have still a lot of power, though their not using so much power chords anymore ;)

  • @vaultdrinker what he/she meant is that Humbug is much more mature than their old stuff. All the songs from "Whatever People Say" and most of "Favorite Worst Nightmare" are nothing more than catchy teenage-life oriented lyrics and fast power chords with powerful drumming.... that's it. Now Humbug, is completely different. The music is much more artistic, emphasizing in atmosphere and trance rather than catchy chords. The lyrics also evolved into much more poetic and deeper meanings.

  • @vaultdrinker i am sure this is more complex than "I bet that you look good on the dance floor" lol
