" A milk shake?"... The dialogue is sheer genius. Hollywood made this film as a rebuke to broadway. Broadway is now virtually dead, less than a shadow of what it once was> This dialogue is genius, and Hollywood today does not compare to this at all. What was made as a rebuke to broadway is now a rebuke to hollywood. It today is a very pale comparison to what it once was.

Miss Bette Davis at her very best here as Margo Channing. I love this picture so much. My favourite movie, and Favourite actress.
