a really exciting "rough draft" of this monster hits, which gave Boston a worldwide breakthrough. In the studio was finally a little ground it already was the version that went on both the debut album as a single from around the world. The demo version is much better than the majority of what we receive today is blaring over the radio and television. Thanks for uploading from Germany.

It's Barry Goudreau.

awesome...very interesting how they cleaned it up; you hear the vocals more on this one, and it seems a bit faster. On the album version you hear the drumming a bit more...both are great!!

Thanks for posting the demo. I read about the development. The re-recording production was definitely worth doing for the finished album, though this is cool to hear for comparison.

I hear this song ALL the time yet, so I believe it still rakes in the cash. I remember hearing this song every Friday night out at this truck stop that was not too far from our family's home. It was a place where not only truckers would stop at but also families went to. And every Friday night this song was playing as we walked in the place. Great memories !
And this is WAY better than 99% of the commerically successful stuff out there these days!
