well you see at my school, my iPhone worked on wifi cuz my school has internet. but at home i have a d-link router and it didn't work : ( would you know why?

@deathcrusade7 my phone would never work on dlink routers, it seemed like anything else was fine.

Did you get your wifi fixed (or did Apple fix it for you for free)?

@SimpleServe i found out it was the router i had, i am not sure exactly why it conflicted, but once i bought a netgear router it worked just fine.

Hey man, I had this problem. Try re- newing the lease. Just pressing the blue arrow next to the name of the wifi network and scroll till u see renew lease

I actually don't think it's the iPhone cause for the wifi not work. I suggest going back to your friends house and trying to connect it there. If it does not connect you'll know for a fact that the iPhone is the problem.

Another way would be to connect your iPhone to your laptop and go to iTunes and restore the iPhone to it's original settings, then try connecting to the Internet.

If that doesn't work then just go to the apple store and replace it.
