This is a follow-up to my previous video on "Peeps Reception at Artomatic". When I was filming the last video, I briefly spoke with prolific Peeps diorama artist Carl Cordell, who had three of his dioramas on display. There was a sign at the table that hinted at a fourth diorama that wasn't finished in time for the reception but would be coming soon. For the next few weeks at Artomatic I kept on going back to the Peeps exhibition in the hopes of seeing this latest diorama but it still wasn't ready. It finally arrived on June 14, 2008--the day before the last day of Artomatic. So here is a short clip featuring the latest Peeps diorama--"The Day The Earth Stood Peeped"--along with the other three dioramas that Cordell had done. When I was filming this, the Rolling Stones' song "Paint It Black" was playing in the background, which added to the strangeness of the whole video.
