The film was produced with the intention of being released theatrically in the U.S., but after the MPAA repeatedly rated the film NC-17, October Films gave up on trying to have an American box office run. Instead, it was sold to the USA Network, where, sadly, the film made its U.S. debut. It was theatrically released throughout Europe though, beginning in the summer of 2000, and was even featured during several film festivals. So, you see, "douchebag," it was NOT made for TV.

omg that so retarted. thanks for the info.

The plot of the movie is that a serial killer is killing high-school virgins, so all the kids arrange a party to lose their virginities so they won't get killed.
And yes, it's every bit as terrible a movie as it sounds.

wtf kinda party is this? why is everyone like trying to have sex?
If you were in this movie.. you should have known that it wasn't made for TV.
And the movie is brilliant.

The movie was financed by October Films but wasn't released wide so it was sold to the USA network. That makes it a "made for TV movie" douchebag.
