In 1996, filmmaker Robert Meyer Burnett created this video in just over one day utilizing spare AVID time. The music cue comes from John Williams' NIXON soundtrack and is called "The 1960's: The Turbulent Years."
@rocketdave I so agree with you there. The actors were superb, and the women were hot. However, the writers and producers got sloppy, and tried to rewrite the bible. Not good. Braga, Moore, and Berman all burned out with Voyager and should have overhauled the writing staff, as well as the production staff to give the show a fresh look to it. Also, they should have stayed true to canon.
Star Trek was the best series of series' ever on television, but sadly it has lost much of its fan base. Are there enough real trekkies (not trekkers) out there to keep it going? I, for one, would love to see a post-Dominion war series somewhat akin to TNG. Cough....cough....Titan. I wonder what J. Frakes is up to these days? Imagine what modern CGI could do for trek, if you've seen the last season of DS9, then you have some idea.
Rob is a professional editor of 20+ years and it was edited in one day on an Avid system back in 1996. He also owns/knows every ST episode by heart, so it was easy for him to select moments.
We had digital editors in 1990, (CMX 6000, Edit-Droid, Avid) it just took a while for the system to become cost effective and become accepted by the industry.
I guess this is some sort of outter space kind of show...

lol... unfortunately, anyone that speaks of themselves in the third person in their item description sorta detracts from the statement.
We are not amused.
