a few deep bass notes from the bass mekaniks 6.0 cd, sorry the sounds not accurate...gotta love digital cameras...oh ya, this is ran off of a diamond audio D3600.1 @ 2 ohms so approx 450 watts to it.

oh really, how are your v2's. would u say that there worth the money? i just know that JL is notorious for really clean bass

um, lets just say i have a 2005 honda civic right, i had a diamond audio D3800.1 hooked to 2 W3v2 12's in a sealed box, and i hit a solid 139.3 decibles in the most recent competition i was in, right now it's sitting in my shed cuz it's snowboarding season and i really cant fit my board in the trunk with the subs in there too

im going to a car audio competition tomorrow with 2 JL W3 v2's with an 800 watt diamond audio amp going to them =) i'll post the numbers when i get them

Notice how it sucks in well mine was doing that too because it had a tear in the surround so i tried to repair it to the best i could now it doesn't push in or out now it hits normal.

I own both. The JL have better sound quality. The Bass notes sound More accurate when played on a JL sub vs Kicker, MTX or other subs. hence the term clean bass.

Why would JL be "notorious" for clean bass? that doesn't make sense notorious is a term for something bad, and i would go with a Kicker L7 myself
