shower stall remove and replace 6 of 7

Remove old shower stall and install new shower stall. Cut water to house off or if there are cut off behind the tub cut it off there. Carefully remove the old tub and shower valve. Remove handle, and esuction plate. Cut old valve out from the back side wall Clean work area and begin prepping the new tub and shower valve for installation. Begin install putting the new tub and shower in place and solder together , then come back to the tub side of the faucet in install the tub a shower trim.

Im thinking of doing the same thing to my show 3 to 1 valve, the only issue I'm having now is that my shower cooper pipe is not clamp down and is able to wiggle in and out form the shower so how will I be able to stablize it from moving...oh I have access through an opening in my closet that is located right behind the shower..thanks dude

@Taxminia0311 My Trick for that is Great Stuff. Come in a red can at almost any hardware store. spray it on and let in expand and it will hold your pipes in place and you can remove it easy later if you have to *-) Good Luck my friend and thank you for the comment

I'm not an expert and I could be wrong, but did you forget place some type of cooper fascend clamps to pipes middle woodblock in order to prevent each pipe from wiggling & ratteling within the wall when the client uses his shower?? correct me if I'm wrong.

@Taxminia0311 Not a problem. I use another trick that some plumbers don't use. I don't like the clamps because when and if you have to go back into the wall and make repair the valve has no movement making it very hard to make adjustments. Back in the day plumbers would install this valve has if they would never have to be replaced or worked on making it hard for any one today to get in there and work on them. @plumberx I just replaced my shower set today and had to do a similar install. Sure enough, I had to use a Shark Bite (never heard of them before!) It's in and is working great.

@sumyang20099 PEX pipe and fittings will alow you to do this with out fire, and shark Bite fittings but can be very treaky. Good luck
