TFL are redesigning the road layout around Blackfriars bridge. The northbound section at 'Unilever Circus' is now taking shape. Not going to be easy for cyclists wanting to turn right. They haven't removed the stupid suicide-lane that takes cyclists on to new bridge st

It really is poor. It was fast enough whe they had a 20mph limit, now it's worse.

Turning right into Queen Vistoria Street is much harder than when it was two lanes.

The LCC design would be so much safer.

Looks a bit mental at the start off. Just wondering what the stats are for Motorbike Vs Cyclist accidents!

@MelloVEL0 yeah, getting into the ASL is usually quite difficult as its often chock-full of motorbikes or taxis. Luckily I don't have to turn right here....not an easy junction for cyclists to negotiate. Shame the mayor and TFL have missed an opportunity to re-design the layout with cyclists in mind

Cyclists lives come well behind the great god (motor) traffic flow in TfL's priorities.

To anyone with the ability to reason, that's practically a guilty plea to a corporate manslaughter charge.

London would benefit greatly from it's mayor being the next victim.

I've never cycled in London - but that looks like a cast-iron recipe for collisions. And we all know who comes off worst.
