This is my first on snow test out of the O'Neill H4 Campack that I bought back in February of 2009 but I didn't get a chance to try it out until this season.
I don't think it was a particularly good buy.
As you can see, it creates a heavily posterized image that looses all the detail, the same goes for when not using it on snow in a less bright environment.
When it changes to black and white, that's not been done in post, it happened on the recording, I think due to the cable that connects the camera into the media recorder being a bit flaky.
I also had to zoom the video in just a tiny fraction to eliminate the fact that there are some black borders on the edges with interference.
I don't think I'll be using it again, will look at a proper helmet cam from the likes of Go Pro.
