I personal believe this may be a good idea. I look at the benefits of crime prevention or at least help in prosecution or defense. The important thing is that the everyday citizen needs to be able to track people in the government also. It is going to happen one way or the other. We might as well make it totally open. Everyone spies on everyone.

@ministerabdallah What if Hitler had had this? It would have been alot harder to stop him, or to resist him. there are and have always been other ways of finding kidnapped children. Amber alerts are 1 of them. There is also a rfid like ink, it works the same way but it has no chip. If these chips can track a child, what would stop them from tracking protesters? The government already has scanners in airports and enhanced pat downs. Why should this happen to?

@ministerabdallah A chip that can find a missing child can also be used to find resistance members. The USA has the bill of rights and the Constitution, which protects the rights of US citizens. These chips should never be forced, and what happens if you can't pay the fee to the company who owns the chip that is in your child? Do they still care if your child goes missing? Studies have shown these chips may even cause cancer, that alone is enough to fight them.

@ministerabdallah The right to marry is a battle that will be won, seatbelts have a purpose to protect you in the event you collide with another car. Freedom without order would bring chaos, I'm glad people aren't free to murder aren't you? But say the government says everyone has to have a chip and that anyone who refuses it will die. That infringes on basic human rights, the USA was founded on the idea that the citizens would have rights. These chips take away freedoms.

@WTCLover A chip or scanner won't stop a bullet, just like a bulletproof vest won't notify you of the location of a kidnapped child or who was in the vicinity of a crime. Freedom? What freedom? Are you FREE to not wear a seatbelt in your car? Are you FREE to consume whatever drugs you want? Are you FREE to marry whomever you want (I hope you understand this one)? WE supposedly ARE the government. So you are saying you wouldn't allow it, so why would those in power do so. Truth bless.

@ministerabdallah Yeah just like they say the scanners in airports will protect you. Can I ask one thing please? How is a chip or a scanner going to save you? Microchips don't stop bullets, Someone who is willing to give up freedom for so called security isn't fit for either. People have died for freedom, why should it be in vain? The government isn't going to let you track them. Government want's to control the people, people in government don't have to go through scanners.
