@TommeyReed lol wrong, hho is much much more explosive then gasoline.. you need much less.. and lookup permanent magnet altenators.. normally used for marine engines or homemade wind turbines... some put out in excess of 2 kilowatts and require very little in the way of hp... might want to check them out.. My rig is pulling 180 watts and putting out 1.8 kilowatt.. Pretty neat, same size as normal car alternators

Just because you started that engine, does not mean you have produce any energy for work.

In fact more energy in, less energy out.

1 hp = 746 watts of power, you will find that engine will do far less work then energy in.

Have you read the book "World Hydrogen View" by Roger Billings? I just read it yesterday and learned a lot. It seems you can run an engine entirely on hydrogen without retarding the timing with low oxides of nitrogen and no backfiring as long as you use water injection properly.
