  • very nice video and the phone is really great but sony ericsson should update it to ics 4.0 ...

i have an xperia x8 with an installed rom like the one you show on your video (gingercruzt) and its really nice but it doesnt got a 1GHz scorpion processor... I will maybe buy an xperia neo v or a xperia mini pro.. what should i prefer?

  • @Zartierakias Your right. They definitely should although it seems that Sony only tends to the needs of potential profit. I would stay away from the mini. You will most likely have a better experience with the neo v

  • When ever i try to update my phone using the pc companion it says that the sonyericsson site is overloaded .... can u please tell a solution to that??

  • @1234sufian well it could very well be that their server is in fact overloaded but its imposable to say. Best to do some research but if you can't find anything on it I would recommend just un-installing pc companion and reinstalling it. That's your best bet other then that I don't know what to tell you.

  • Every time I go to PC Companion, it tells me my phone already has the latest software, even though I only have Android 2.1.1.

  • @starman1695 that means your carrier probably did not authorize the update or just didn't bother. Your best solution is to root and install an unbranded version of the firmware.

  • Thank you.

  • @aLexOFWGKTA for battery life if you are rooted like me you can download an app called SetCPU in witch you can set a rule that states whenever your phone screen locks or turns off by pressing the lock button the cpu freq will go to the minimum setting therefore saving alot of battery.

  • @aLexOFWGKTA ok well for killing the app your best choice is to download advanced task killer and set the auto kill to 5 mins or so. For the theme there is really not much to do. It obviously just takes up too much of your phones memory. Try uninstalling apps that you don't need and that might be taking up memory, You would be suprised how many apps actually stay open all the time. One again that can be helped via auto kill.

  • Nice video, I need some help!? I have this theme app, im running the 3.0 Honeycomb theme. My X10 is slow as hell and the battery life is so so bad. Also how to you actually exit a app with out me having to kill it every second.
