Mid-Year Symposium 2010 at Bridgewater State University

The 5th Annual Mid-Year Symposium was held Friday, December 10, 2010 in the Rondileau Campus Center.

In record-breaking fashion, over 560 first and second year students presented their research and creative work on a variety of topics: everything from the additives in our food, to the history of vampire lore, to the competition between world-class skiers, to the efficacy of local social-service agencies! The success of the event was featured in The Enterprise.
Each year, the Office of Undergraduate Research sponsors the MYS in celebration of faculty-mentored undergraduate scholarship and creative work conducted by students in all disciplines at Bridgewater State University. BSU undergraduate students of every major are encouraged to participate. The entire college community is invited, and many faculty bring their classes to attend all or part of the day.

All of us in the OUR sincerely congratulate all student presenters and faculty mentors. We are thrilled with such a great turnout!

Next year's MYS will take place on Wednesday, December 14th 2011.
