@ThisPageStaysREAL ???......how do you compare 300 to Dark Knight and even more crazy is the comparison of Dark Knight to this film. Dark Knight's ending wasnt an ending it was the close of the second chapter in the trilogy. Im not seeing how someone can say this is better then that when all three films are totally different.

It's too hard for me too choose my favorite ending of a movie. An interesting one is the ending to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Even though people mock it because they can't understand it so they just say it doesn't make any sense.
Some more recent movies (because a lot of people here just watch recent movies for some reason) that have interesting endings are: Adaptation, Memento, and even Requiem For a Dream.
And I also want to point out that I love the bittersweet ending to Little Miss Sunshine.

I thought this was the WORST movie ending of all time! I HATED this movie SO much...
... I bought it. I've watched this movie over 200 times, and yelled at it every time. I guess I'm wishing someone will spend the rest of their life in Leavenworth for mutiny. - It never happens ;(

Seriously though, people saying any movie in the past 10 years had a better ending than this should just keep watching 300 and the dark knight...Both movies i like too but come on now..
This movie comes FULL CIRCLE in a way some movies cant even with a trillogy. This movie took on race, mutiny, morality,philosophy, the flaws of man in the nuclear age, the cold war AND obesity lol. The drama from those elements was perfect, ending was flawless. Best ending /oat, if not..its damn close.
