A tour of Intel IT's data center in Russia. This data center hosts about a thousand servers. To improve energy efficiency of the data center, it uses external cold air to cool the data center during winter, and uses the heat from servers to warm the office area. Ha, why is commenting turned off in yhe Russian version of this video? Why is this one pre-moderated? Free cooling is not an innovation, therefore not a unique, but absolutely mature technology, and in Russia it can be implemented by a small company of 2 or 3 people. Heat recycling has been used industrially since XIX century, and even earlier just intuitively, in everyday life. Why does Intell call an innovation what is not? Don't they have real ones, if they have to lie?
