oh man the next area is such a pain i hateit i always dread it not so much because of hidon but because of the time it takes to get to him

i sometimes wunder if it's worth it to get grand train

2nd easiest Wrexsoul I've ever seen. :p

Actually, getting Grand Train involves more skill than luck, and even with that said, there's not much to it. Just take the Hidonites (the smaller creatures) out one by one; and when Hidon is laid bare, it will attack with the Lore. Your Flare should help with this since each of the minis has a specific elemental weakness and strength.

It's oddly interesting that Grand Train's animation was lifted by Square itself; Chrono Trigger's Magus uses "Dark Matter", a skill that looks similar.
