Need someone to place online tutorial to finish this song I love so I can play the rest by ear. It was on the movie Soul Food when the lady was dancing and Morris Chestnut (actor) playing piano They shamefully did not include the song in the Movies soundtrack !

  • @MistressJoysquirt the actor is Michael Beach

  • That's the track from "A Dream" by Debarge. Lead vocals were by Bunny Debarge. 2Pac, Blackstreet and others have sampled it.

  • Check my channel. I made some freeware that lets you save and play chord sequences so you can click one key to see how to play each chord. the software is called Key Chord Progression. Download it and then download the Soul Food .kcp file on the same site. I doesn't install, you just double click the program file to start it up and do a File -> Open on the Soul Food.kcp file.

    Enjoy!

  • A DREAM - DEBARGE (1983) remade by mary j. blige.....hope it helps your search

  • i found a great version on here-look up i aint mad at 'cha (piano)

  • The original song was actually called "A Dream" by DeBarge back in the 80's. A beautiful song. They played it way before Mary J and Blackstreet although all versions are really pretty.
